Shipping Policy
At Trip Tots, we are committed to ensuring that your rental experience is as smooth and convenient as possible, starting from the moment you place your order until the time you return your rented items. Our shipping policy has been designed with this in mind, using reliable next-day services to streamline both the delivery and return processes.
Delivery of Rentals
Delivery Service: We ship your rented equipment using a next-day delivery service, available Monday through Friday. This ensures that your items arrive promptly, ready for use when you need them.
Order Processing: To qualify for next-day delivery, orders must be placed within the specified time frame provided. Orders received on weekends or bank holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Shipping Confirmation: Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number, allowing you to monitor the delivery status of your items.
Returns of Rentals
Return Instructions: At the end of your hire period, we provide clear instructions on how to return your rented items. It's important to follow these guidelines to ensure a hassle-free return process.
Post Office Drop-off: Unless otherwise arranged, customers are required to return their rented items to any UK Post Office. This convenient option allows you to drop off the equipment at any of the UK's numerous Post Office locations at a time that suits you.
Collections: If you select this option your items will be collected from the delivery address unless you contact us to inform us that collection should be from a different specified address. If you choose this option, you must ensure someone is available at the collection address between 9:00am and 6:00pm on the agreed collection day.
If the collection is missed because no one was available or the items were not ready, a £10 re-collection fee will apply, plus any late fees incurred as a result of the items being returned after the agreed hire end date. The re-collection fee is charged directly by the courier company and is passed on to you at cost.
In-Person Returns: Alternatively, customers have the option to return items directly to us in person. This must be pre-arranged with Trip Tots to ensure a staff member is available to receive your items.
Additional Information
Packaging: Please use the original packaging where possible when returning your items. This helps to protect the equipment during transit and ensures that it arrives back to us in good condition.
Return Confirmation: Once your returned items have been received and inspected, we will send you a confirmation email. This process helps us keep track of returned items and manage our inventory effectively.
Late Returns: Please be aware that late returns may result in additional rental charges, as outlined in our Returns Policy.
Delivery Delays & Responsibility
We always aim to dispatch orders within the agreed timeframes. Where we have dispatched your order on time, we cannot accept responsibility for any delays, missed deliveries, or service failures caused by the delivery company, including any resulting costs or losses. In such cases, our responsibility is limited to assisting you in tracking the parcel and liaising with the courier where possible. We always recommend selecting a delivery date at least 3 working days prior to when items are needed in case of delays with delivery.
If a delay occurs because we failed to dispatch your order within the stated timeframes, we will take responsibility for that delay and work with you to provide an appropriate resolution.
